David was seven-and-a-half months old when I had the pleasure of being the photographer for his baptism at the Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church in Encino. His family – on both sides – is from Los Angeles originally, but they’d relocated to Houston and were now back to celebrate their child’s momentous day. Tammy, his mother, found me through a Google search for a baptism photographer. Tammy’s sister is a wedding coordinator, so she was helpful with organizing family members for family photos and posed baptism photographs.
I arrived early to take some photos of the Armenian church – a laid back establishment with stained glass windows and a few chandeliers. David made for an adorable subject and I was allowed access anywhere I wanted to get the best photography coverage of his baptism. After the ceremony concluded, we dashed off to Fig & Olive restaurant in West Hollywood where the reception was being held. It was a lovely day with a lovely family!
