Recently I was hired to be a baptism photographer in Beverly Hills, at the Church of the Good Shepherd. I was a little worried when I arrived at the church and found no one there, but the family was simply running late. Hardly surprising when you have 4-month-old twins and out-of-town visitors to wrangle!
The Heiser had asked me to photograph their twins’ baptism at the beautiful church, which is right in the heart of Beverly Hills.
The service ran seamlessly and I was impressed with how relaxed the babies were throughout the baptism. They seemed to be enjoying the event and flashed big smiles for the camera!
Afterward, I joined the Heisers at their home in Marina del Rey to photograph the family celebration. Some guests had flown in from Florida for the baptism, so it was a great opportunity to capture some family portraits. I felt extremely welcome in the Heisers’ home and even hung out and had some food with them afterward.
They were thrilled with their photographs from the day.
