The story of Randy and Rae’s meeting was right out of a modern fairy tale. Randy is a high school teacher in Santa Clarita who happened to meet Rae when he was teaching her daughter. Being their Santa Clarita wedding photographer was an unforgettable experience, and I had an unbelievable amount of fun capturing the event for them.
Like every loving couple soon to be married, Randy and Rae wanted to find the perfect setting for their wedding. After viewing a number of excellent wedding venues throughout Santa Clarita, they decided on Le Chène French Cuisine. Le Chène hosts a beautiful and serene setting to hold an outdoor wedding ceremony in, complete with dense foliage and amazing natural lighting. It also has a charming indoor reception area. However, it was a special place for them as well, as it was here where they had their first date!
This crowd was ready to have fun and dance. Randy and Rae chose “When I’m 64” by The Beatles as their introduction song. The rest of the night was scored by funk, soul, and classic rock. As you can see for yourself from the photos below, everyone had an amazing time both on and off the dance floor. The wedding and reception were an absolute pleasure to be a part of and reaffirmed how much I love my job.
