This was a great example of a really fun, colorful and interactive family portrait session in West Los Angeles. The McMahon family heard about me because I am the school portrait photographer for their daughter’s school in Pasadena. For the school’s annual fundraiser, I donated a family photography session to their silent auction and the McMahons won the prize. I photographed the four of them at Kenneth Hahn Park, which is one of my favorite outdoor family photography locations in Los Angeles. It’s a bit of a hidden gem, with 400-acres of hiking trails, lakes, and the perfect greenery for treasured family portraits. We did a variety of posed and candid photos and the young girls had a blast. You can tell from their bright smiles how much they enjoyed the photo session!
A Los Angeles family photography session was a great silent auction idea because I enjoy giving back to the schools that I work with and I also get the chance to meet new clients. It’s a win-win!
