A few days before Parker’s first birthday party, his parents realized they’d forgotten to book a birthday party photographer. They hopped on a quick Google search and found me. I was glad to be available, because the party was nicely set up at their Brentwood home that photographing it to look beautiful was a breeze.
They had the Jolly Express Train, a professional balloon artist, Heather at Balloon Workz and musicians Musiic and Ashley. Unfortunately, the party coincided with Parker’s nap-time and the birthday music lulled him to sleep. Though it didn’t stop guests from enjoying the catering by party planner Fire and Crème out of Venice.
I took a lot of candid birthday photos at the party; kids were running around and having a great time and it felt like a relaxed family picnic, despite the grandeur of it all. I can’t wait to see what Parker’s second birthday will be like!
