Rarely does it rain in Los Angeles, and after a morning dumping buckets, it miraculously cleared up for my 3:00 p.m. start time with Kay Marshall-Seidman of Marshall Design, Inc. Kay hired me to photograph models sporting the new line of yoga and fitness apparel from Pure Karma, a Los Angeles-based clothing company.
Kay wanted outdoor lifestyle photos to showcase the athletic apparel and she selected a park in Playa Vista. It was a great backdrop for the energy and feel of the look that Kay wanted. I photographed the models doing yoga, jogging, stretching and playing volleyball. After we finished at the park, we found a neighborhood in Marina del Rey to take a few more photos to round out the urban aesthetic.
